During a visit to ECD Automotive Design, Steel & Style had the opportunity to experience one of the most emotional and unforgettable custom builds we’ve covered — a fully customized Jaguar E-Type powered by an LT1 engine and built as a rolling tribute to its late owner.

Long before the project was completed, the visionary behind the build passed away, leaving behind a dream that would ultimately become something far greater than just another restoration. What emerged was a machine carrying legacy, passion, craftsmanship, and memory in every curve of its hand-crafted bodywork.

The Jaguar E-Type has always been considered one of the most beautiful cars ever created, but this version carried something deeper. The custom touches, modern performance, aggressive stance, and carefully refined details transformed the iconic classic into something intensely personal. It became more than transportation — it became a final statement.

Standing in front of the car, you could feel the emotion attached to it.
